Changing Fast!

It is now the end of May, and things have been moving fast on the Meadow. At last, after all the rain, there are signs that some of the seeds planted in the winter are coming through, especially the annuals - cornflowers, daisies and poppies.

At least four pairs of blue tits have fledged young from the sponsored nest boxes and the kestrels are now feeding young in the owl box.

Skylarks are singing over the meadow and buzzards and red kites are seen scavenging over the meadow on a daily basis.
