An essential part of the Meadow maintenance is the annual cut & remove of the summer growth. Moving the huge haystack is quite a job!

Four acres at the western boundary have been leased to Drove Orchards, and 300 heritage apple trees were planted in January 2024. These are already thriving and adding a splash of colour to the Meadow.

The final batch of Barcham Trees, planted in December 2024. The trees have been sponsored in memory of family members by residents and visitors to the village. Each tree has a memorial plaque at its base. Another season of watering ahead of us!
